Tree Risk Assessments

We all know that trees can provide us with an enormous amount of benefits, but they  also have the potential to cause significant damage to your property, tree risk assessments offered by JC Forestry provide a way to help detect  and spot the hazard before it is too late. We take a precise and systematic approach using up-to-date methods and metrics to help mitigate and resolve the issue.

Level 1 - Limited Visual Assessment
A level 1 limited visual assessment is usually the quickest way to start the risk assessment process, this is typically done by performing a visual inspection of the tree which is also the fastest yet least thorough. The method behind a level 1 inspection is for a large number of trees in uniform to spot the most obvious defects that have a high likelihood of failure.

Level 2 - Basic Assessment (most popular choice)
A level 2 basic assessment is the most popular choice for our clients, our risk assessor will perform a 360 degree visual inspection using effective tools to help make a more effective analysis using a qualitative assessment. This will help determine the likelihood of failure in a specified time frame, mitigation options as well as residual risk.

Level 3 - Advanced Assessment
A level 3 advanced assessment is the most thorough out of the three, this is achieved using high tech equipment to help make a more detailed and precise decision of mitigation options. Usually conducted on much larger/older trees, a level 3 will provide a more advanced look into any defect or condition your tree might have.
